3-Dimensional Paintings
In painting, Burke has had her work recognized by Monsanto for her innovative use
of Foam-Cor to create 3-dimensional landscapes. These are both painted and carved and have actual depth ranging from 2 to 6 inches which gives a powerful and life-like illusion of space. The overall result is dynamic and playful.
