Paintings
Although I have worked in many different mediums, I entered the visual arts through painting. At the Art Institue of Boston, I was charged with the passion for this visual language by Jason Berger, a true master.
Today I paint for pleasure, to challenge my skills, and to translate my region with the artist's eye. I am convinced after taking thousands of photographs, that the digital age with it's easy imagery, will not replace the energy and vitality of a good painting. I also believe that an area is left with a gift when seen with the simplicity and clarity of the artist's eye.
